Our people

We tell the story of our work through the testimonies of the people who, every day, with talent, energy, and creativity, dedicate themselves to bringing new projects to life.

Federica Mattavelli

I have been at Giovanardi since 2002, and I’ve spent half of my life here.
I started as a maternity cover at the switchboard, and over the years, I have taken on various roles until I reached the administration department. I enjoy overseeing everything related to international matters. This includes invoicing for exports to various countries and related documentation, bookkeeping, and payment tracking.

I always thought I would become a teacher, but here I discovered a creative and diverse world I never knew existed. The reason I’ve been here for 22 years is because there are many positive aspects, including the fact that the company is very supportive of women. I have had two children and have always felt supported in my choices.

Valeria Latella

I have been working for 9 years at Giovanardi, in the Retail Area.
I handle back office tasks and order processing, transport documentation, plan logistics, support the project manager, and prepare the financial reports for our division.

In the morning, I arrive at the office an hour before everyone else. I start working in peace, I read and respond to emails: it’s a very productive time. There is an atmosphere of absolute calm that promotes concentration.
Then my colleagues arrive, and an energetic atmosphere is created. I enjoy working with my team.

Barbara Mauri

I am a Project Manager in the Development Area. I have been working at Giovanardi since 1996, and I have a significant background in freehand creative design and drafting. Today, I focus my creativity on identifying technical and aesthetic solutions for the projects that customers submit to us. I take them from the beginning and gradually develop them until the prototype is finalised, collaborating with the relevant sales representative, budget planners, and the technical department.

I am able to put my whole self into this job; there’s a part of me in everything we create. For me, it’s more than a job; it’s a passion.
They call me “the runner” because I visit all the departments to oversee and monitor every detail. In continuous search of beauty.

Mimma Schinco

Since 1994, I have held and still hold several positions in the Technology Area. Assembly, packaging, and sheet protection before the bending, cutting, and rolling processes.
When needed, I handle screen printing and assist the laser operators.

Our company is a wonderful place. My two sisters and I have worked here together; one has retired, and the other will soon follow. It’s a lovely place to work, and we consider ourselves lucky. I enjoy my job because it is hands-on, allowing me to do many different things, with the assurance that things will always change.

Nicole Ballerini

I have been at Giovanardi for three years in the role of Sales Account, focusing on business development in the Retail sector. I reach out to new clients, receive briefs, and coordinate with the various departments. I currently manage 5 clients, handling multiple projects simultaneously. I enjoy overseeing the projects, and I find fulfillment in the relationship that develops with the client. You won’t often find me sitting at my desk!

It begins with a brief, with an image that the client entrusts to us. Deadlines are always tight, it’s a rule of this industry. It is our responsibility to ground the project, understand, and fulfill the client’s wishes. We work as a team, we share, we discuss and, above all, we listen to each other.
There is respect for both the work being done and the person doing it.

Paolo De Ponti

I am responsible for quality control at suppliers of semi-finished products. I also work in the Technical Department, developing documentation related to product industrialisation. In fact, I have two roles and work at two different stations. I personally ensure that the technical and aesthetic characteristics of the approved prototype are maintained during the production stages of each semi-finished product.

I have been working at Giovanardi for 8 years. Being responsible for quality control gives me the opportunity to stay updated on the evolution of various technologies and constantly discover new ones.
In our company, each individual matters, and the work is stimulating because the projects are always different. The management’s door is always open, and the communication is direct.

Roberta Scimia

I have been at Giovanardi for ten years, mainly handling back-office tasks and interacting directly with clients. I have a predisposition to create a collaborative and empathetic relationship. I also dedicate a significant portion of my time to managing logistics and transportation. I work autonomously and always feel respected and listened to when presenting a problem or suggestion. Here, you are never alone, and you always feel supported.

The greatest satisfaction comes from finishing an order and delivering the entire production, having overseen every stage of development, from the initial design to the shipment. We don’t create displays; we create “jewels”.
When a new order comes in, everyone celebrates because it’s the result of teamwork.
It’s always a competition with other contenders, and securing the order is a deeply satisfying professional achievement.

Rita Netti

I have been working at Giovanardi since ’98. I am a general worker with various skills that allow me to work in different departments and operate various CNC machines. I work with laser cutting machines for plastics and metals, but over the years, my passion has shifted towards digital printing. I really enjoy it: we also create works by established artists.
We receive the designs from the artist, then we mill them with the pantograph and shape them. Once in my printing department, I work carefully on decimal alignments and colour quality. A protective coating is then applied to the works before they are framed. Finally, I see beautiful pieces come to life, and it fills me with pride.

I focus intensely on my work: the result must be perfect! During the morning break, I take a moment to grab a coffee. I step outside and chat with my colleagues; it’s a time when I can clear my head.
It’s a job that involves beauty. There are companies where you do the same
thing all the time, but here with us, you do something new almost every day.
